My fabulous Lacy Garlic Latkes with a Special Topping: Chive & Dill Herbed Goat Cheese with Smoked Trout… a luxurious & delicious recipe!

Nice chunks of Pan-roasted Garlic are enclosed in the latke. Not an overwhelming “garlic” flavor – mellow yet noticeable – see my Master Recipe

Lacy Garlic Latkes topped with Herbed Goat Cheese & Smoked Trout
Ingredients
- one recipe Karen's Lacy Garlic Latkes, makes 18
- 4 ounces creamy goat cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh chives , finely chopped
- 3 ounces smoked trout fillet*, flaked
- 18 small dill sprigs
Instructions
- Make: Karen's Lacy Garlic Latkes.
- In a small bowl, cream goat cheese with dill & chives to combine. Add a little lemon rind if you like.
- Heat the latkes until warm and crispy (if made ahead of time.) Add to a pretty platter.
- Top with a portion of herbed goat cheese on each latke.Add the flaked smoked trout on top, garnish each with a herb sprig.
Notes
