My fabulous Lacy Garlic Latkes with a Special Topping: Chive & Dill Herbed Goat Cheese with Smoked Trout… a luxurious & delicious recipe!

Ingredients 

  • one recipe Karen's Lacy Garlic Latkes, makes 18
  • 4 ounces creamy goat cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh chives , finely chopped
  • 3 ounces smoked trout fillet*, flaked
  • 18 small dill sprigs

Instructions 

  • Make: Karen's Lacy Garlic Latkes.
  • In a small bowl, cream goat cheese with dill & chives to combine. Add a little lemon rind if you like.
  • Heat the latkes until warm and crispy (if made ahead of time.) Add to a pretty platter.
  • Top with a portion of herbed goat cheese on each latke.
    Add the flaked smoked trout on top, garnish each with a herb sprig.

Notes

Smoked Trout: I used Catsmo Artisan Smokehouse Skinless Smoked Trout Fillets.
Hint: if too salty, soak in milk, then drain and pat dry.
