- 4 ounces creamy goat cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh chives finely chopped
- 3 ounces smoked trout fillet* flaked
- 18 small dill sprigs
Make: Karen's Lacy Garlic Latkes.
In a small bowl, cream goat cheese with dill & chives to combine. Add a little lemon rind if you like.
Heat the latkes until warm and crispy (if made ahead of time.) Add to a pretty platter.
Top with a portion of herbed goat cheese on each latke.Add the flaked smoked trout on top, garnish each with a herb sprig.

Smoked Trout: I used Catsmo Artisan Smokehouse Skinless Smoked Trout Fillets.
Hint: if too salty, soak in milk, then drain and pat dry.
