The Heirloom Tomatoes

I like to use a variety of shapes and colors – each has its own special flavor profile.
So Simple… So Tasty
Here is an example of why using the best quality matters… flavor!
Heirloom Tomatoes are intensely sweet, with deep earthy flavors, in dynamic colors.
- Make your own Hummus, or buy a high quality one (which is quick and easy.)
- Source a good quality sourdough baguette – sometime gluten sensitive people can enjoy
- Tomatoes can be simply marinated to top the bruschetta, or quickly brushed with EVOO and a sprinkle of salt
- Basil and Mint ARE garnishes – they are part of the overall flavor
- The Bruschetta can be made ahead and assembled right before your gathering.
The Bread:

Rub cut garlic over the top after grilling to add a boost of flavor

Enjoy this summertime antipasto!
