The Perfect Irresistible Valentine’s Day treat for your loved ones ~ keep some for yourself for snacking!

Decadent but not overly sweet
Boxed and ready to give
Make an easy heart shaped decoration with extra chocolate

These chocolate peanut butter cups are super-simple to make, with just a few ingredients. Use the best quality chocolate ~ I like an extra dark type, although, yes – you can use milk chocolate if you desire (has a much higher sugar content.)

How to make:
Place mini fluted paper muffin (or candy) cups on a rimmed tray to fit.
Melt chocolate and spoon a layer on the bottom of the cups and up the sides; refrigerated.
Make the peanut butter filling.
Add a rounded teaspoon of filling onto the base of the chocolate shell.
Top with a layer of melted chocolate – done!

Consider Decorations:
Chocolate Hearts: Place excess melted chocolate into a small baggie.
Snip a corner and pipe small chocolate hearts on to wax paper (on a tray.)
Add chopped peanuts on top of the hearts and refrigerate until hard.

Can also add a peanut half to the top of the chocolate layer on the peanut butter cup before chilling.

Lining the paper cups
Creamy peanut butter filling
All natural ingredients – the ultimate peanut butter cup!
The perfect Valentine’s Treat to box up and give

Enjoy!
