Karen's Refreshing All Green Smoothie

Loaded with antioxidants and superfoods - this green smoothie is lightened-up and delicious with the addition of fresh ginger.

Servings: 2 servings, or one very large one

Equipment

  • 1 nutribullet personal blender or high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups fresh spinach cleaned, I use large flat leaf spinach
  • 1/4 cup tuscan kale cleaned
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 4 tablespoons cucumber I use Persian cucumber
  • 1/2 cup green apple cored
  • 1 1/2 cups organic coconut water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger peeled
  • 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Coarsely chop all ingredients. Add all to the nutribullet (or similar), and run for one minute. Invert cap; open, add 4 ice cubes. Secure top and whirl until icy smooth, about 15 more seconds. Juice will be a bit frothy.
    Enjoy!
  • Any remaining juice can be placed in a glass container and refrigerated for up to one day.
