Servings: 24 1 teaspoon servings; makes 1/2 cup
- 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 2 1/2 teaspoons dehydrated toasted onion ground
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoon chipotle chile powder (gives a nice smoky taste with heat)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried lemon peel* ground with a little texture
When spices are ground right before using - the best and freshest blend is achieved.
And - the freshness of the spices is important too!
*Lemon Rind: You can dehydrate the peels, then grind.
Alternately - finely grate the rind, place on a piece of parchment paper
and air dry in the sun.
