Orange Tamari Vinaigrette - Lisa's Favorite

Great with South West Flavors, a classic vinaigrette.

 

Ingredients: 
  • ¼ cup tamari soy sauce
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 3  whole garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1  pinch pepper (fresh cracked to taste)
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest, chopped

 

Method: 

In a blender place all ingredients except oil. Pulse to mix. Measure the oil in a measuring cup. Turn on machine and slowly pour in the oil in a thin steam until emulsified, (do not add oil too quickly or the dressing will separate).

Notes: 

This dressing keeps well in well sealed jar for a few weeks in the refrigerator.
